Tropical Miami block parties are coming to Toronto starting this weekend

Another event to add to your busy social calendar this summer! Toronto’s most colourful patio RendezViews is hosting a block party series throughout the summer that’ll make you feel like you’re partying on the shores of South Beach, Miami.

The event series, called Unidos Festival, is a series of one-day music fests featuring local and international Latin artists.

Organizers promise that Unidos Festival will “bring all cultures together for a fun and exciting tropical vibe in the heart of the city we love.”

The first event kicks off this Sunday, May 22, and will feature a lineup of acts including Brray from Puerto Rico, Oplus from Colombia, Altur Santos from the Dominican Republic, as well as dancers, DJs, and a live salsa band.

The next Unidos Festival has been slated for July 1, followed by July 31, September 4, and October 9.

General admission tickets are now on sale, ranging from $20 to $40 each. It’s worth noting that the ticket doesn’t include seating, food, or drinks.

However, you do have the option to reserve a picnic table for up to 8 people, with a minimum spend of $500. You can also upgrade to the premium booth, which has a minimum spend of $1,000.

Both options have bottle service and a food menu on RV EAST curated by Chef Nuit of Selva and Pai, who is considered one of Canada’s top chefs. Patio pub fare will be served on RV WEST by The Ballroom.

There are so many music festivals happening in Toronto this summer we can hardly keep track! From the return of Electric Island and Field Trip to Toronto’s first-ever Rolling Loud Festival, this is sure to be one chaotic summer.
