Festival-goers, the season of outdoor concerts is just a few weeks away. Kicking off music festival season here in Toronto is the Electric Island Season Opener, a one-day event with back-to-back performers by the waterfront.

Electric Island is a fully-licensed concert and picnic series at Toronto’s West Island festival space at Ontario Place, and it’s celebrating its 10-year anniversary season this year.

It’s one of several events to take place at the venue this spring and summer. The Toronto Craft Beer Festival will take over West Island in June.

There are countless new and returning live music events to hit up in the city over the coming months.

SugarLand’s Let There Be House festival will take over Sugar Beach in June, followed by a three-day music event, called Decadence, at CityView during Canada Day weekend.

In August, the city will host its largest annual street festival Taste of the Danforth, as well as TD JerkFest Toronto and the popular Toronto Caribbean Carnival.

Music festivals like Boots & Hearts, Osheaga, and VELD also plan to return this summer.

Mark your calendars folks, and have your finest festival attire ready to go!
