A Tulum beach club experience with brunch & DJs is coming to Toronto this week

You don’t need a passport to travel to the tropics because vacay vibes are coming right to us this summer. Toronto is getting a pop-up beach club that’ll make you feel like you’re in Tulum, Mexico.

The pop-up is called Playa Patrón and it’ll run for three days in early July at Ashbridges Bay Park.

Inspired by the beach clubs of the tropics, Playa Patrón will serve up Tulum-inspired bites during the day and hand-crafted cocktails at night.

A luxurious three-course brunch menu curated by famed Tulum chef Cesar Castaneda will be served in the daytime and with the waterfront views and lake breeze, you’ll feel as if you’re dining at a beachfront resort.

There’s also a vegan version of the brunch menu — you can view both the food and drink menus here.

As the sun sets, Playa Patrón will transform into a massive party, with unique beach festivities, deep tropical house DJs, Mexican street food, and of course, tequila-based cocktails galore.

Both the brunch and the beach party experience are ticketed so whether you’re picking one or doing both, you’ll need to reserve your place in advance.

Brunch tickets include the full three-course meal as well as three standard size Patrón tequila cocktails, so prepare to get boozy!

Your ticket to the evening beach bash includes one welcome cocktail and entrance to the full DJ show, including openers and headliners.

No need to pack a suitcase for this beach getaway. All you need is a ticket in hand and your squad in tow. See you there!
