A new all-day rooftop hangout is coming to Toronto. Soluna will be a bohemian oasis in the heart of Queen St West when it opens this July, with dreamy decor, a laid-back atmosphere, and an open-air terrace with sunset views.
Soluna is the latest concept by the founder of Calii Love and Love Child Social Club, Dan Gunam, in collaboration with Vito Tomasicchio of Nodo Restaurants, Hush Hush, and Nest. The spot, along with its highly anticipated patio, officially opens on July 6th, but here’s a look at what it looks like!

“Dreaming of an escape oasis in the heart of the city? We’re bringing a place for the bohemian nomads that travel the world, addicts of good vibes and free spirit wanderers,” says the website.

Soluna is decked out in lush greens, as well as cacti, and the space is meant to sweep you away to an almost ‘staycation’ like experience. It’s meant to provide a “day-to-night” experience that delights all of your senses, with a share-style menu inspired by the coastal flavours of Latin America, South East Asia, and the Mediterranean.
To complement the bites, Soluna will also serve up a variety of craft cocktails, live music, and performances.

Plus, the lush rooftop terrace is sure to be a popular destination in the warmer months, especially given its amazing location near Queen St West and Spadina Ave.
For the menu, expect cocktails like Smoky Mezcal Margarita, and Champagne Sangria, as well as your local faves. As for the food, there will be tapas that include Tuna Tostada, a raw bar featuring a Seafood Tower, as well as entrees ranging from seared tofu to a Tomahawk.

It goes without saying that Toronto is teeming with incredible patios and rooftop bars, and you’ll definitely want to add Soluna to the top of your list.
