A brand new food hall with restaurants & a cafe has opened in downtown Calgary

Stephen Avenue’s food scene has just gotten a sweet new upgrade! Whether you’re on a lunch break or are celebrating a special occasion, hungry inner-city slickers are encouraged to check out Pineapple Hall in Calgary, Alberta.

Described as a “multi-concept space,” this juicy new smorgasbord of food, fun, and drinks is incredibly accessible to those who live and work downtown and features some of your favourite restaurants and bars.

What to expect

According to Concorde Entertainment Group, the company behind this particular destination, guests are in for a treat, morning, noon, or night.

“Pineapple Hall is a celebration of some of our favourite Concorde Group brands, all collected in one space,” said Joe Dort, Director of Brand and Special Projects, at Concorde Entertainment Group.

“This is intended to be a place for people to gather, whether for brunch, a quick coffee or dinner, where they can experience a mix of our concepts from around the city all at once.”

Want to indulge?

Located at the intersection of 8th Avenue and 2nd Street SW in Calgary’s Stephen Avenue Place, foodies are spoiled for choice.

While there, they can check out Lonely Mouth, a Japanese restaurant and cocktail bar, Double Zero, an elevated Calgary pizza joint, or Surfy Surfy, an “airy locale” inspired by Southern California.

In a rush? You can also check out Clive Burger, which will offer walk-up dining.

“All items will be served from one of two pickup windows, allowing customers to easily sample offerings from the various venues in a single order,” they explained.

Also opening in the space will be Needs Must—a cafe and patisserie featuring Monogram Coffee and an in-house pastry team—but there’s more!

If you love Pigeonhole, Pineapple Hall will also feature a new location with an ever-changing drink menu, brunch, and shareables.
