With the holidays just around the corner, many of you are looking ahead to the 2024-2025 ski season in Alberta. Whether you’re a pro-boarder or are going to take this winter as an opportunity to learn, you are in luck. Not only are opening dates coming in hot but so are a few announcements about what is new and coming soon to your favourite hill.
With the year’s first snow behind us, the mountains are covered in fresh powder, and in an effort to keep visitors comfortable, two major destinations have shared the new additions being made to their resort.
Ready to get into it? Here’s what to expect in November when some of the best finally open.
The biggest ski resort in the Rockies, Lake Louise is a provincial favourite.
This year, climb aboard their Pipestone Express Chair – a high-speed, six-person lift that will give visitors faster access to the West Bowl and some of the best front and backside terrain on the mountain.
What’s more, it’s heated and will give the hill the ability to transport 2,000 more people per hour.
See ya later, congestion!
