Ontario’s complete fall forecast is here & we’re in for a warm season

We really lucked out this summer in terms of weather and according to Ontario’s fall forecast, the streak is set to continue over the coming weeks.

Those of you who aren’t ready to say goodbye to the warm weather won’t have to yet.

The Weather Network (TWN) predicts that “warmer than normal temperatures are expected to dominate most of the fall season.”

October is looking especially great with “extended periods of pleasant weather” to enjoy, just in time for pumpkin patch season!

“We also expect fewer fall storms than what we typically see, but a few storms could still pack quite a punch with heavy rain,” says TWN.

However, Ontarians could be in for a rude awakening as we approach the end of the season.

According to TWN, the milder pattern could break down in late fall, ushering in the start of what is set to be a very cold winter in most provinces.

The Old Farmer’s Almanac says that many Canadians are in for “surprise shots of extra-deep cold” this winter, with snow beginning as early as November across Atlantic Canada and southern Quebec.

Needless to say, we’ll be soaking up the rays while we still can.
