Why not start out with dessert? Ohh La La Donuts recently opened on West 10th Avenue, and has plenty of delicious, unique donut flavours to consider.

Chancho Tortilleria

While not technically a new spot, Chanco Tortilleria just opened a new location on Commercial, in the spot previously occupied by Cafe Deux Soleils. After months of anticipation, diners can now check out the new location and indulge in all their fave eats.

Forêt Noire Café

The newest Forêt Noire Café has officially opened on Robson Street, so mosey on over between 8 am and 10 pm from Monday to Saturday or from 9 am to 9 pm on Sundays for some delicious Parisian-style treats.

Vancouver is no stranger to unique themed barsspeakeasies, and hidden gems. And now, we’re just a week away from the opening of a new exciting cocktail experience. Inspired by the depths of a tropical jungle, Jungle Room will offer guests a slew of vibrant drinks and plates, surrounded by lush greenery.

Per Se Social Corner – Coal Harbour

While this one’s a bit more of a wait, Michelin-recognized restaurant Per Se Social Corner is expanding to Coal Harbour this fall, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the news. The popular spot for authentic Italian and Spanish fare will have a new outpost across from the Pac Rim with “Mallorcan and Sicilian vibes,” according to a recent release.

The new location will have a seafood focus, paying homage to the previous Chewies’ spot. Guests can expect to enjoy brunch, lunch, and dinner seven days a week from 11 am to 11 pm.

Opening just in time for summer is The Parker Rooftop, a soon-to-be hotspot for inventive eats and refreshing sips, all accompanied by sweeping views of the city from the ninth floor of The Parker Hotel (formerly Vintage Park Hotel). With 4,000 square feet of patio space and 20-foot-high ceilings, this date night spot has us excited for the summer.

Tall Shadow Bakery 

This sourdough-focused spot in East Van is already active among local farmer’s markets, but its new storefront should be opening sooner rather than later!

Wa-Bagel

Where “Tokyo meets New York,” there’s Wa-Bagel. Vancouverites will soon be able to enjoy delicious Japanese-style bagels, thanks to the latest concept by Aburi Restaurants.

Yokai Tapas and Sake Bar

Richmond is getting a new spot for Japanese tapas and sake called Yokai, which is slated to open sometime this summer. In terms of new Vancouver-area restaurants on our radar this summer, this one’s at the top of our list!

Cobs Bread – Cambie

Cobs is opening a new location on Cambie Street and West 8th, which means Vancouverites will soon have another spot to frequent for their fave Cobs orders, and birthday cinnamon buns!
