Get ready for an exciting new rooftop bar to visit, Vancouver. Opening just in time for summer is The Parker Rooftop, a soon-to-be hotspot for inventive eats and refreshing sips, all accompanied by sweeping views of the city. If you’ve run through all of your favourite date night spots and are looking for another to add to your itinerary, this is a great new space to consider.

Situated on the ninth floor of The Parker Hotel (formerly Vintage Park Hotel), the new rooftop destination boasts 4,000 square feet of patio space and stunning panoramic views of downtown Vancouver, according to a recent release.

The vibe

The new space will embody everything you’d expect from a modern, chic, dining atmosphere: Luxurious seating, 20-foot ceilings, fireplaces, and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the beautiful city we live in.

A representative tells Curiocity that The Parker Rooftop will be equal parts “high-end” and “low-key,” providing a relaxed, elevated space for guests to socialize and enjoy an upbeat, curated music experience.

“We want to create a unique bar experience for our guests and the Vancouver community, and we believe that Parker Rooftop will exceed all expectations,” says Claire Wright, Partner and Director of Operations of Executive Table Group. “We are confident that our talented team of chefs and service staff will create an unforgettable experience that will leave our guests coming back for more.”

The menu

As for the menu, guests will be able to enjoy a mix of international and local flavours in the form of inventive, shareable plates made with seasonal ingredients. This will include a weekend brunch menu (served from 10 am to 3 pm), daily happy hour specials, and dinner served seven days a week.

According to the release, The Parker Rooftop will include a spacious outdoor patio, along with two private dining patios, perfect for enjoying a warm summer night. As well, the restaurant will feature an indoor area surrounding a bar with unobstructed views of the city skyline.

Hours & info

The new rooftop bar will be located on the ninth floor of the Parker Hotel at 1379 Howe Street. And although we don’t quite have an official opening date, Vancouverites can expect to check it out this June, operating from Tuesday to Saturday from 3 pm until late.
