The sun is out and the weekend is ahead of us, so for restaurants hoping to serve hungry Calgarians on their patio, there really is no better time than now! We hope that you’re thirsty, YYC because National on 8th Avenue has announced that they’ll be opening their iconic rooftop patio today at noon!
Of course, due to what we can really only assume will be a crazy season, the restaurant has decided to take reservations. This is being done to ensure that those who are celebrating something special will definitely get a table; however, they will also be saving some room for walk-ins, ‘ya know, to keep things casual.

Now, chances are most of you have been to the Stephen Ave hotspot several times over, but for those who haven’t let us preface your visit by saying that they’ve got an incredible view.
In addition to a cold drink, pretty dece food, and a lively atmosphere, guests can also take in some serious sun… or people watch from high above if you’re willing to get close (but not too close) to the railing.
So, check it out, folks. It’s been a hot minute since they’ve been open (likely due to the renovations at Stephen Avenue Place) and they probably miss you just as much as we miss them.
