This Toronto Christmas pop-up bar is the ultimate festive lounge for jolly holiday drinks

Nothing says holiday season in the city like a festive cocktail bar, rather Toronto’s iconic Miracle pop-up bar. And lucky for us, it’s back this holiday season for another round of festive cocktails and kitschy decor.

Miracle has been a holiday tradition in Toronto since 2018, and it’ll be bringing its over-the-top Christmas cheer to the west end starting on November 17th.

If you’ve never been, Miracle is more than a holiday-themed pop-up cocktail bar — it’s basically a Christmas fever dream in real life. The team behind Civil Liberties is bringing this concept to life, and they’re stocked up with all the tinsel, twinkle lights, gift wrapping, candy canes, Santas, and Christmas trees needed.

“We’re thrilled to welcome guests back to Miracle this holiday season and to provide a feel-good space that is sure to get Torontonians into the Christmas spirit!” said Nick Kennedy, owner of Civil Liberties.

“With our over-the-top decor and playful menu, Miracle is the perfect place for people to gather with friends over delicious cocktails and bites as they celebrate the holidays.”

And of course, what are the holidays without festive drinks?

Some of the wild drinks on the menu include the Christmapolitan, Hot Buttered Rum, and Jingle Balls Nog, just to name a few. There’s a new cocktail on the menu this year as well – the Marshmallows & Unicorns. It’s composed of gin, vanilla liqueur, velvet falernum, cherry liqueur, cardamon, black pepper, marshmallow, lemon, egg white, tiki bitters, and soda.

Guests can also sip classic drinks like mulled wine or enjoy spirit-free beverages like hot chocolate and hot apple cider. As for treats, you can expect festive creations from Courage Cookies and soft pretzels from Mr. Pretzels, available with salt or cinnamon sugar.

You’ll be feeling holly and jolly with a few of these cocktails in your system, the Christmas music, and the endlessly amusing holiday decorations.

This year, the bar will pop up at Third Place Toronto, located at 875 Bloor Street West near Bloor and Ossington.

Plus, $1 of every drink sold will be donated to Nellie’s Shelter, an organization providing shelter, education, and advocacy for women and children in the GTA.

With the Distillery District Winter Village and the Polar Express coming our way soon, this holiday season is already shaping up to be spectacular.
