Canada’s huge burger festival is about to kick off in Alberta & here’s who is participating

We hope you’re hungry, Alberta! Canada’s tastiest festival, Le Burger Week is back with a special plant-based edition and they’ve finally released a kick-off list of participating restaurants!

From local bars to cafes Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, Cold Lake, Lacombe and Medicine Hat are in for very two weeks of some wildly tasty creations and unusual combinations – so get ready!

Not entirely sure what to expect? Well, for those of you who have never gotten to sink your teeth into a Le Burger Week, here’s a rundown of what you’ve been missing!

Every September in support of locally-owned businesses, this delicious festival challenges Canadian establishments to go head to head in a battle of the buns all in hopes of winning “best of” in each city.

It’s honestly delicious and this year, even those who are Vegan can also get involved because (while it’s not a requirement) the folks behind the event have tasked participants to make animal-friendly eats.
