This new Canadian airline will launch in September & here’s where it will fly

As if you needed another excuse to travel the country from coast to coast, Canada Jetlines, a new budget airline is set to take its very first flight from Toronto’s Pearson Airport to Calgary and here’s what you need to know!

Expected to launch on Thursday, September 22nd, Canada Jetlines will begin operating on a biweekly basis – though that is set to change on October 13th, when they shake things up.

“Frequency will increase to three flights per week, Thursdays through Sundays,” they wrote in a press release.

“Canada Jetlines is proud to launch our initial flights between Toronto to Calgary – two vibrant Canadian cities with numerous tourist destinations including Niagara Falls, Lakes of Ontario, and the CN Tower in the East, and Banff, Kananaskis, Canmore, Lake Louise, Jasper, and the Rocky Mountains in the West,” added Eddy Doyle, CEO of the company.

“The two cities represent cultural diversity, economic trade, and significant investment opportunities. We are encouraged to continue expanding our reach, with the goal of serving as Toronto’s preferred airline”

So how much will it cost to fly Jetlines, exactly? Well, that depends on how loaded you’d like your experience to be!

The base fare costs just $99 – though, this price does not include your seat selection, any checked baggage or any onboard extras.

If however, you’d like their premium JetLines package, $254 will get you the following:

  • Seat Selection
  • Two checked bags
  • $50 Cancellations
  • $20 Credit for onboard extras

Want something mid-priced? They also offer JetPlus and JetFlex price points, which you can read more about here.

To book now, you can snag a ticket on their website now, but hurry – there are so many seats available!

This is big, folks! Between Flair, Lynx, Swoop and now Jetlines Canada has become a hotbed for affordable airlines and that means more people can travel, explore and experience all the beauty and excitement our country has to offer.

Does it get any better than that? No. No, it doesn’t!
