McDonald’s is bringing the ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ meal to Canada

“Golden” meets the golden arches as McDonald’s Canada teams up with Netflix hit movie KPop Demon Hunters.

Fans of the musical fantasy film can look forward to menu items inspired by the movie. On Tuesday, McDonald’s Canada teased the collaboration on Instagram with a post captioned, “u asked, we listened. The battle for the fans is coming to Canada 05.12.”

Details have been scarce so far, but if McDonald’s Canada follows the U.S. rollout, Canadian fans can likely expect a similar lineup: a new McFlurry flavour and two adult meals: the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal and the HUNTR/X Meal.

Just like the fictitious K-pop demon boy group, the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal brings the heat. It includes a Spicy Saja McMuffin with egg and a peppery Spicy Saja Sauce, hash browns, and a small soft drink — or rather, a little “Soda Pop” of your choice.

As for the HUNTR/X Meal, it comes with Ramyeon McShaker Fries, a spicy, umami spin on the World Famous Fries. A medium soft drink and 10-piece Chicken McNuggets are paired with the Hunter Sauce, a sweet chilli sauce, and the Demon Sauce, a purple mustard sauce.

There’s also potentially a new sweet addition: the Derpy McFlurry, a vanilla soft serve with berry popping pearls and wild berry sauce, inspired by Derpy Tiger, the clumsy but lovable supernatural feline creature.

Daily Hive has reached out to McDonald’s Canada for more information. The meals were available in the U.S. starting March 31, but Canadian fans will have to wait just a little bit longer.
