You can walk among 40+ life-sized dinosaurs at this immersive outdoor experience near Toronto

The largest touring outdoor dinosaur show of its kind in the United Kingdom and Europe is coming to three Canadian cities this summer. And one of them is just outside Toronto. Jurassic Kingdom will bring life-sized dinos to once again roam Earth, but this time in a more entertaining and educational way.

Starting July 23 and running until Aug. 10, 2026, the Toronto-area show will feature more than 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. You will get to see them as realistically as they can get — through robotic movements like swaying tails, moving heads, and opening jaws.

If you ever wanted to come face-to-face with dinosaur favourites like T. rex, Triceratops, Raptors, and many other prehistoric creatures, this is your chance.

Those visiting will follow a curated trail of moving and roaring dinosaurs set among natural landscapes, according to organizers.

“Jurassic Kingdom is all about bringing dinosaurs to life in a way that’s exciting, accessible and educational for families,” said Naz Kabir, spokesperson for Jurassic Kingdom.

“Seeing children’s reactions as they get up close and personal with these incredible creatures is what makes this experience so special.”

Along with the dinosaur trail, there are paid and free family activities, including a fossil dig pit, a bouncy castle, a giant trampoline, ride-on dinosaurs, and face painting. You’ll also find food, drink and merchandise available on site.

What to know before you go

Jurassic Kingdom is fully outdoors and designed for children aged two to 12. It’s also stroller-accessible.

It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Daily capacity: up to 7,000 visitors. “Visitor entry times are scheduled every hour, ensuring a comfortable experience, and visitors may stay as long as they wish,” add organizers.

Tickets are priced at $25 for adults 16 and up, and $20 for children three to 15. Weekend pricing differs.

Toronto area tickets have yet to be released, but keep an eye on their website for when they do.

The Jurassic Kingdom tour will also be stopping in Ottawa and Montreal this summer.
