Jersey Mike’s is opening its North York location next week

Jersey Mike’s is finally opening its second location the the GTA this month. The U.S.-based sub chain has announced it’ll officially open its York Mills location and here’s everything you need to know.

North York, you’re next! Jersey Mike’s Subs will open at 808 York Mills Rd on October 23rd, 2024.

“We are thrilled to continue to expand in the GTA and are looking forward to joining the York Mills community after the excitement around our Markham opening,” said Ken Otto, CEO of Redberry.

“Our energetic teams are working hard to give Torontonians the chance to taste for themselves why Jersey Mike’s is truly A Sub Above.”

In an email to Curiocity back in July, Red Berry confirmed the opening of its Markham location at 8600 Woodbine Ave, set for August. And, at that time, its York Mills Garden store was set for mid-September.

But now the wait is over and Canadian sub lovers will soon get the chance to enjoy its fresh sliced and fresh grilled sub sandwiches closer to home.

The new opening is just one of the first 300 Jersey Mike’s restaurants coming to Canada.

For Ontario, these are the first of six new Jersey Mike’s in development.

“By the end of the year, Redberry will open in Toronto’s Union Station as well as Brantford, Guelph and Pickering,” shares a representative of the brand.

“These six locations will employ nearly 100 crew members.”

Union Station is slated for a December opening but be sure to come back once its opening is officially set.

These will be in addition to the two existing and recently remodelled locations in Kitchener and London.
