We don’t play around when it comes to improving our Instagram grid so when we found out that Canada is home to one of the most Instagrammable cafes in the world, we had to find out where.

Travel site, Big 7 Travel has shared its list of the 50 most Instagrammable cafes scattered across the globe. We’re talking cafes located in Indonesia, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, and of course, Canada.

“The vast majority of us are guilty of snapping pictures of our food before we tuck in and restaurants and cafes are well aware of that trend. Instagrammable cafes have popped up all over the world with decor, dishes and drinks that are made for the gram’,” according to the site. “The kind of places that give meaning to the phrase ‘the camera eats first’.”

Per the list, there’s only one Canadian location that makes the cut. Though we’re sure there must be other stunning cafes across the country, this one, in particular, is located in none other than Toronto.

Out of 50 cafes, Toronto’s FIKA came in 11th, which isn’t too bad considering it’s listed among other top choices in the world.

“FIKA is a stripped back cafe with stunning design of old books covering an entire wall and hanging planters,” shares Big 7 Travel. “The place looks beautiful, but is also welcoming and the sort of cafe you’d stay for a second brew.”

With over 8,400 followers on Instagram, this Kensington Market cafe is a fan favourite among coffee lovers – not only for its paper-filled wall but for its comforting space that serves as an escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city streets.

FIKA is a Nordic “inspired” cafe that also features a backyard patio perfect for the warmer seasons.

You can see what all the hype is about at 28 Kensington Avenue. And while you’re at it, check out the rest of the cafes on the list.
