Beandigen Cafe

Beandigen Cafe is an Anishinaabe-owned and operated cafe in Ottawa that offers amazing coffee, bakery goods, a cultural experience, and art.

When: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM, Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM – Closed Monday

North 46°

North 46 is located in Little Current, Ontario and offers a casual fine dining experience with stunning views of the LaCloche Mountain range and Lake Huron. Manitou Bistro

Get ready to EAT! Enjoy the delicious creations at Manitou Bistro in Ottawa. They offer medicine wheel grazing boards, powwow tacos and Bannock pizza galore. This spot offers delicious Indigenous-inspired fusion cuisine like no other.

Tea N’ Bannock

“Where the past and present meet.” Tea N Bannock features an almost endless menu with delicious appetizers, mains, and desserts. We’re talking Bison steak, Salmon burgers, wild rice saute, and more.

“Since 2012, Tea-N-Bannock has been serving dishes that reflect culture both the past and present. Not only providing a platform for indigenous chefs and traditional cooks, but also a place for youth to get introduced to professionals and given space to dream,” reads its site.

Pow Wow Cafe

Though they recently closed up shop at its storefront in Kensington Market, those searching for a delicious Indigenous meal can check out Pow Wow Cafe’s catering services. Or if you’re lucky, you can find them at local events and more recently, at the St. Lawrence Market. You can try dishes like Bison-venison meatballs, “Indian Tacos”, scone dogs, and more.
