Spooky season is just around the corner and if you’re looking for ways to celebrate, we have an event that you certainly don’t want to miss. It’s not a haunted corn maze or house, rather it’s an evening haunted cocktail soiree. Let’s take a look at the House of Spirits and what ghoulish fun you can get up to.
If you’re unfamiliar with House of Spirits, it’s a wildly popular Halloween event that takes place in different cities each year. It’s been experienced by over 50,000 guests and was ranked by PR Newswire as one of California’s best-selling haunted plans.
The evening will take place at Capitol Hill’s magnificent DAR Rainier Chapter House, built in 1925. You’ll enter into a 22,000-square-foot haunted mansion where an evening of macabre magic awaits you. As you roam the house on your own or with friends, you’ll find tarot readings, strange roaming specters, secret games, and so much more.

But you won’t be roaming the halls of the DAR Rainier Chapter House, rather you’ll be wandering the halls of Casa Vega.
The tale of Casa Vega is loosely based on real-life inspirations, such as Spanish painter Francisco Goya and his famous Black Paintings. Goya and the combination of several other Spanish folktales come together to showcase the story of Francisco and Molly who find themselves tormented by a strange entity that haunts the shadows of their home after the mysterious death of their child Little Magpie. Live their reality and see if you can survive the night.
Tickets are on sale now and as always we recommend purchasing ahead of time in order to avoid disappointment. It’s also worth noting that the event highly encourages you to dress in time period fashion, costume, or elegant dress. Enjoy!
