Toronto’s going back to the 2000s this summer with a one-day-only, hip-hop and RnB music festival. But it’s not just ANY music festival, none other than Nelly will be headlining the event and he’s bringing a few of his friends too.

Get ready because on June 24th, Toronto’s Downsview Park will host the first-ever Hot in Herre music festival, named after Nelly’s number-one hit. The nostalgia is so real that we’re about to start wearing oversized tees and baggy pants again.

And what’s an old school RnB music fest without the artists that MADE the 2000s oh-so memorable. That being said, Ne-Yo and Akon will also be headlining the music festival alongside Nelly.

But that’s not all! Fat Joe, T.I., Rick Ross, Ja Rule, Chingy, and Keri Hilson will be performing too. We’re just as surprised as you are!

“Toronto is one of my favourite cities to perform in, and the fact that I get to come back and bring all the people that came up with me in the industry means everything,” said the “Dilemma” artist.

“We have a lot of surprises in store for you, Toronto, and the Hot in Herre team can’t wait for this summer.” The team is so excited that even Nelly hopes to make this a yearly tradition.

Now for the next steps. Tickets are available and start at $165 to $275 for General admission. There will also be two 19+ VIP areas, one with front-of-stage access and the other with a lounge area and private bathrooms.
