The city’s most beloved street festival, Taste of the Danforth is officially coming back to Toronto this August.

Mark your calendars because Taste of the Danforth returns from August 11 to 13, 2023. Get ready to eat, drink, dance, and celebrate the beautifully diverse cultures that make up Toronto.

Across Danforth Ave, from Broadview Ave and Jones Ave, you’ll be able to enjoy Greek cuisine to its fullest. The festival attracts about 1.6 million people a year and it’s a great opportunity to give back to the community.

Taste of the Danforth was cancelled back in 2020, and 2021 due to the pandemic.

Though we were looking forward to 2022, the BIA cancelled the event due to the short timeline they had “to adapt the event to the changes in the street” which were “too great a risk of not being as successful as in the past,” according to its site.

As for this year, Taste of the Danforth kicks off on August 11th from 6 PM to 12 AM, August 12th from 12 PM to 12 AM, and August 13th from 12 PM to 10 PM.

Get ready for an unforgettable event!
