Popular Alberta arcade bar to open a Vancouver location this spring

After taking over both Calgary and Edmonton, we just got the news that GRETA Bar is gearing up to open a location right here in Vancouver! This ‘arcade bar’, as it’s known, is a “Greta” (sorry) mix of classic arcade games, modern options, and of course, some delicious food and drink to go with it!

GRETA Bar started out in Calgary back in 2018, and was met with instant success. Combining an approachable atmosphere with quite literally dozens of arcade options ranging from Mario Kart to table hockey, the bar became a go-to destination for those looking to switch up their nights out. After all, how can you resist a little friendly competition after sinking a few suds?

And after expanding to Edmonton at the end of last year, they’ve set their sights on Vancouver! GRETA Bar will be setting up shop in Gastown, taking over the former location of The Bourbon. And while an exact date has yet to be confirmed, they’re confident that it will be open in the spring. Just in time for the weather to get a little nicer, which is perfect for us.

We’ll keep you in the loop as more information comes out, so stay tuned for this exciting new spot coming to the city!
