Grand Valley has a little bit of everything and according to its website, “Our Town is known as “Nature’s Playground” and it offers an assortment of leisure activities including fishing, hiking and horseback riding.”

The Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area is one of Grand Valley’s most visited attractions.

The Marsh is “a biological treasure in the headwaters area of the Grand River watershed.”

The 5,900-hectare property is surrounded by wetlands, fields and forests providing “habitat to a wide variety of birds, animals, plants and trees.” It’s also known as one of the best bird-watching spots in Ontario!

Day-use fees to visit the Marsh are $8.50 for adults and $3.50 for children.

There’s also the Upper Grand Trail way, a four-season nature trail with plenty to see, running 10.5 km in length.

Don’t forget to stop in the historic downtown core of the town. Downtown is just steps away from the banks of the Grand River and boasts markets, shops and restaurants!

Sounds like a trip to Grand Valley is around the corner!
