Here’s where you can check out free workout classes in Seattle this winter

Seattleites are really good at keeping New Years resolutions, in fact, we’re the best in the nation! With that in mind, if working out is part of your new year plans, you can partake in some great classes for free this winter. The Seattle Center is hosting workout classes and here’s what to expect.

Fitness-focused Seattleites will be able to attend weekly Workout Wednesdays Winter Fitness Sessions presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health which are being hosted at Seattle Center. The Wednesday classes will be taking place from January 31st until April 3rd at the Seattle Center Armory Loft.

Best of all, the classes are drop in so there’s no need to book ahead. The classes being offered are yoga and Zumba both of which are open to all ages and experience levels.

The Zumba classes run from 6 PM-7 PM at the Armory Food & Event Hall, and have easy-to-follow choreography set to an array of music styles. It’s recommended that attendees bring plenty of water and wear sneakers comfortable for dancing in.

The yoga classes are gentle and take place from 7:30 PM-8:30 PM at the Armory Loft. Attendees must bring their own yoga mat or towel to practice on. You should also probably bring some water to be safe.

With that, enjoy!
