September is here and autumn isn’t far behind. This season, we’ve got a ton of food-friendly events bringing sun, fun and local eats to our city streets – so really, it’ll just be a matter of which event to attend first! Not sure what’s happening? Here are 7 food and drink festivals and events happening in Calgary this fall.
No matter the day or the occasion – we’re always in the mood for carby deliciousness covered in cheese and sauce. If you’re like us and just can’t get enough of the good stuff, unhinge your jaws because YYC Pizza Fest is coming, and with it, a spotlight on some of the city’s best thin crust, deep dish, topping-heavy restaurants, and their most inventive slices!

With comfort food season in full swing, the thought of penne is never far from our minds. This month Pasta La Feasta returns, celebrating the very best in Calgary’s growing carb scene.

Food, drinks and costumes? Fall is here and so are the super fun fall food festivals. This October check out Market Wines Spooktacular Beerfest, a terrifyingly delicious event between 7 and 9 pm.

From dancing and live entertainment, October’s Bombay Night Market may not ‘technically’ be a festival, but because it’s said to have a chef-driven dinner buffet, we just had to add it. Check it out and enjoy!

From food and music, to dance and fashion the Calgary Taste Of Nigeria Festival returns to the Shepard Community Centre. Bring the family for a day of absolute fun, indulge in incredible eats and enjoy incredible performances. We can’t think of a better way to spend the day!

Chug, chug, chug! Or sip in moderation… whatever your style is. Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival is a ton of fun. Slurp and chew the best from all over Calgary over two of the tastiest days of the year. This festival has been running for over 20 years, which means they’re “aged to perfection!”

This fall, indulge at Granary Road when they kick off their 2022 Chocolate Festival. From brownies and cupcakes to hot chocolate and more – this delicious festival is going to be the sweetest of the season – so check it out!
