“Merry Christmas, ya’ filthy animal”: Calgary just got a ‘Home Alone’-themed pop-up

This holiday season, celebrate a beloved classic at Eighty-Eight Brewing Company in Calgary!

Starring, Macaulay Culkin, Home Alone is an iconic film that follows Kevin McCallister, a neglected 8-year-old who has a run-in with a couple of persistent burglars.

While the film premise sounds grim, it’s famously a ton of fun and, for the last few years has inspired a wild pop-up at the beloved SE spot.

With decor meant to mimic the McCallister house, fans are encouraged to check them out until December 31st and have a drink or take part in some of their fun activities throughout the month.

In addition to their big scavenger hunt, the taproom will also be offering their Harry and Marv feature flights and cheesy slices from Portland Street Pizza which has rebranded as Little Nero’s (from the movie) for the event.
