Alberta has some unbelievable places to stay overnight, but for those who dream of jewel-encrusted crowns and red velvet carpets, there’s no place quite like the iconic Calgary Castle house.

Known all too well by locals as one of the most original pieces of real estate in the city, this particular home has earned many a double take and was even an art collective for a time.
