If you have spent time at Disney parks as a child or adult, you’re probably familiar with Dole Whip. It’s a cold, refreshing pineapple-flavored soft serve that’s perfect for hot weather. Normally, you can only get the treat at Disney parks, but that’s all about to change this year.
Dole is getting a bit of a facelift, rebranding itself as a “purpose-led, nutrition & wellness company.” That rebrand will require some efficacy to prove true to consumers but in the meantime, it does mean that Americans can get their hands on one of the brand’s most iconic products nearly anywhere.
Since Dole Whip is basically a soft serve, we’re assuming consumers can expect something as close as possible to that in a packaged form. Dole describes it as “a tropical frozen treat” and says it will be available at grocery stores in three flavors – pineapple, mango, and strawberry.
