One of Vancouver’s best, and best-hidden, rooftop patios is reopening

When Chupito first opened in the city last summer, it was greeted with immediate fanfare. Tucked away in Gastown, the spot offered the perfect place to unwind with some tasty drinks and delicious food to match. And after closing down for the winter, it’s finally gearing up to reopen!

Starting on Wednesday, May 11th, you can head down there once more or go check it out for the first time! For food, expect delicious snacks and share plates, with an emphasis on dishes made using their charcoal grill. As for drinks, there’s a wide range of cocktails to try, but we’re going to make a bee-line for the return of their frozen margarita machine.

It should be noted that hours will be a little different than last year. Chupito is doing away with their tent, and going for a fully open-air concept that will rely on the weather. Assuming all days are sunny (fingers crossed), you’ll be able to visit them Wednesday through Saturday, with a few special events sprinkled in on Sundays.

Honestly, we loved the concept when it first came out, and we think that feeling will only grow this summer! Of course, the easiest way to stay up to date is by following them on Instagram, for both opening hours and special events to check out!
