Over the past few years, Chef Eduardo Jordan has taken Seattle by storm. He started with his beloved Ravenna spot, Salare, and moved on to JuneBaby as well as several chef features across the city. And this month marks an intense time for the chef as one chapter is closing and another is beginning.
Sadly, Salare is another victim of the COVID-19 pandemic and will be closing permanently on July 3rd. As we all know, restaurants and their owners have been hit quite hard by the pandemic. So continuing to run this beloved spot is no longer feasible. But the good news is that after a year, JuneBaby is starting up indoor dining on June 16th.

While this news is bittersweet, it’s yet another reminder to continue to support local restaurants when you can. After all, we love the food and they depend on our business. So use this news as an excuse to treat yourself and look back on the fond memories that you have of Salare.
When JuneBaby returns you can expect to see a few differences including a merger of neighbor Lucinda Grain Bar. Additionally, seating will be half capacity and walk-in only. So if you decide to dine-in this month be sure to get there early as this restaurant is popular. If you’d like to learn more you can click here or check out JuneBaby’s info below.
