WHC SUMMER SERIES

Wild Heart Collective’s 124 Grand Market has returned. The food and drink event (plus a little shopping and entertainment) will be running Thursday, Saturdays, and Sundays at locations around the city.

EDMONTON VALLEY ZOO

Even with summer pricing in effect, the zoo remains one of the cheapest date ideas for attractions in Edmonton. Plus, they’ve got a super cool LEGO exhibit, with sculptures located around the grounds!

ART GALLERY OF ALBERTA

The AGA has got a serious amount of stuff to check out this spring. If you’re curious, there will be as much as 10 temporary exhibitions and installations on view! General admission ain’t so bad, but head down on the final Thursday of every month for admission by donation night.

HIT THE LINKS

A confusing pick, we know, but golf is surprisingly cheap if you know how to do it right. Quick trip to a par 3 after work will be under $20 per person, but it’s even better (and way less stressful) to simply knock a few balls around on the range!

METRO CINEMA

As much as we love a state-of-the-art theatre, we might like this local option even more! Metro Cinema has always got a great selection of movies to check out, from cult comedies to art-house to things even we’ve never heard of!
