This might just be the most over-the-top treat in the city. Immersive dining destination Casa Madera known for its coastal Mexican cuisine has the ultimate indulgence on its dessert menu.

The Cristalino is a luxurious Cristal champagne-infused raspberry cake with Cristal macarons and raspberry coulis, finished with decadent black truffle ice cream.

The raspberry cake will set you back a mere $125. Is it worth it? Well, you can set aside some room in your budget and find out.

If you’re really feeling fancy, you can also order Casa Madera’s extravagant main course, the Casa Tomahawk for a whopping $295.

This 32oz bone-in wagyu tomahawk is served with tomato and potato confit, black truffle, roasted garlic, and smoked butter.

Delicious? Yes. Absurdly expensive? Double yes.

Both the Tomahawk and the Cristalino are permanent additions to the Casa Madera menu, but the restaurant has also introduced a new feature menu made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

On it, you’ll find Raw Razor Clams, Crab Salad, and Lamb Rack, plus creative wintery cocktails Despedida and Sol de Oro.

Brought to us by the Los Angeles-based hospitality and lifestyle company Noble 33, Casa Madera has become a dining hotspot since it opened back in April.

Plus, some of the dishes and cocktails are also finished tableside, “bringing an element of visual excitement and theatrics to the dining room.”

If you’re celebrating a special occasion, this is the perfect setting. And if you have the extra money to spend, there’s a special section on the menu just for you.
