Canada’s first ‘Cake Boss’ bakery is now open near Toronto & here’s what it looks like (PHOTOS)

After months of anticipation, Buddy Valastro has finally opened the doors of his very first bakeshop in the north. Carlo’s Bakery is now up and running in Mississauga and it’s a must-visit for Cake Boss fans and pastry lovers alike.

With a spacious outdoor patio and a huge variety of mouthwatering eats straight from the Valastro family recipe book, Carlo’s Bakery is designed to be a neighbourhood staple where locals can get together and enjoy a leisurely lunch or a slice of cake in a vibrant atmosphere.

It’s impossible to resist the photo ops once you step inside. The striped gelato cart is inspired by street vendors in Italy and decor has a charming European feel. Even the staff’s uniforms are adorable!

And of course, you can’t leave without posing next to the life-sized cutout of Buddy holding a Canadian-themed cake.

As for what’s on the menu, you’ll definitely want to bring your appetite. Every day starting at 11 a.m., the bakery serves up a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and snacks made with “motz,” the Valastro family’s twist on mozzarella.

For dessert, you’ll be spoiled for choice with slices of delicious cake, cannolis, lobster tails, donuts, cookies, cupcakes — you name it! There’s also an assortment of hot drinks on the menu and a selection of pre-packaged treats you can grab at the to-go counter.

In addition to his famous sweets, you’ll also be able to scoop up all kinds of Carlo’s Bakery merch, including a Cake Boss-themed apron if you’re feeling inspired.

Fans of the show are in for a real treat too. Carlo’s Bakery Canada’s Managing Partner Chris Zownir told Curiocity that Buddy himself is planning to stop by for an in-person visit as soon as possible, but until then you may catch him doing a live video call from the large screen inside the bakery.

To find out more, you can follow the bakeshop on Instagram for all the deets.
