Do you find yourself squinting at labels every time you go grocery shopping, or even downloading apps to figure out which brands are best? Well, you might be interested in a new roundup of the Most Trusted Brands in Canada for 2022, courtesy of the folks at Reader’s Digest.

Using the market research company Ipsos, Reader’s Digest asked some 4,000 Canadians to name their most trusted brands in a variety of open-ended questions. They really went for it, too, covering 35 different categories ranging from cars to insurance to sun care products.

Some of these, to us, are no-brainers (Sephora for beauty retailer and Ford for pickup trucks), but others have us really wishing to see a vote breakdown. Frankly, we had no idea that Tylenol really dominates the medical world, or that Uber Eats has surpassed both DoorDash and SkipTheDishes.

Well, if there’s one thing the list of the Most Trusted Brands in Canada for 2022 has accomplished, it’s that we’ll be thinking a little harder the next time we come down with a cold!
