Canada’s 1st location of a famed Korean fried chicken chain opens in the GTA today

Attention foodies! There’s a new spot opening in Toronto and we think you need to hear about it. The very first Canadian location of Chicken Plus is holding its official grand opening today. This delicious joint is so good it already has people talking.

Chicken Plus, which only began in 2016 in South Korea, now has hundreds of locations throughout its home country, Vietnam and Malaysia. Now, its very first Canadian location is ready to dish out the goods.

Chicken Plus had their soft opening in Scarborough a few days ago. Lineups of Torontonians hit the joint to get a taste of what they were serving. With the outpour of support the soft opening saw, we’re sure the grand opening today is going to be an even bigger hit.

Of course, with the great practices they’ve got behind them, we’re not surprised by the popularity. The spot is all about serving high-quality eats at a low price. Their Korean-inspired fried chicken is made with fresh ingredients and goes through a rigorous quality control system.

Plus, it’s pretty darn delicious. Ordering from Chicken Plus happens in three steps. Step one: pick your chicken part – boneless, wings, or drumsticks. Step two: choose your flavours from a selection of mouth-watering options. Step three: add your sides. They’ve got everything from onion rings to cheese balls to steamed rice. Yum!

So pencil in a visit to Scarborough’s new Korean fried chicken joint. Your tastebuds will be glad you did.
