Hold onto your pizzas, people! Calgary’s wildly popular UNA Pizza is taking its tasty offerings to the mountains and opening up a location in Banff. It marks another expansion for the pizza shop, which currently operates spots on 17th Ave, on 85th Street SW in West Springs, in Bridgeland, and also in Saskatoon.
In an Instagram post shared Monday afternoon, UNA announced that it will be indeed heading to Banff to open up a new shop in the fall of 2021. In case you’re not familiar with UNA or its delicious ‘za, drawing inspiration from Italy, France, California and the south of Spain to become arguably Calgary’s most popular pizza spot.

UNA, which began back in 2010, has held onto the honour of being one of 17th Avenue’s go-to spots, along with opening up in bustling communities around town. With the expansion into Banff, UNA will soon be serving up its dishes to folks from all around the world.
In the Instagram post regarding the Banff location, UNA stated “The mountains are calling and we must go! The same delicious pizza + wine you know and love from @unacalgary but with a new mountain address!”
Well, we certainly can’t wait for an opportunity to eat a slice (or 10) in the heart of the rocky mountains. Until then, the Calgary locations will help us get our fill just fine.
