We’d be willing to bet that at least 3 out of every 5 people reading this would name tacos among their favourite foods. They’re versatile and above all – they’re freaking delish! For this reason, we strongly believe that one city can never have too many tasty spots especially if they’re accommodating like the Vegan Street Taco Bar, a new and upcoming restaurant in Calgary’s Inglewood area!
Hot on the heels of their successful Beltline restaurant, Vegan Street has decided that YYC could use yet another plant-based favourite, this time with a focus on Mexican cuisine!
“It started with a dream of offering more plant-based food options to the Calgary culinary scene, and changing the minds of people who thought eating vegan meant comprising flavour,” they in an Instagram post.

With happy hour specials, $6 margaritas and $5 beer, monster nachos and more, there’s no doubt in our minds that this place will likely be incredibly successful. However, that won’t stop us from recommending you check it out on May 11th when they open.
Of course, given the current circumstance, they will only be offering online or takeout orders until May 25th. By then they’ll be set up on all of the major delivery apps,
