Canada is getting a first-of-its-kind free-fly rollercoaster
Ready for the first look at Canada’s most insane new free-fly rollercoaster, via a somewhat cheesy but still captivating video? Yes, you are! A first of its kind ride is coming to the Great White North next year, and it’s going to toe the line between crazy fun and making you toss your cookies. Really, that’s what rollercoasters are all about.
The Vipère (yeah, French for “viper” because oooh snakes) is coming to La Ronde in Montreal next summer. It’s going to be made of four-winged vehicles that extend from the side of the track. You’ll be sitting with your legs dangling and the unsettling feeling that you’re being flung through the air without much holding you in. So fun!
Also, the seats spin. Not only are you completing vertical free falls and twists, but you’re spinning 360 degrees head over heels. Yee frickin’ haw!
We know it might be a little bit of a trek to La Ronde, but since this is a one-of-a-kind coaster in every way, it’ll be worth it! Either that, or it’ll be one of the most traumatic days of your life. Depends how you feel about heights. Wanna hold hands?
