Grab a drink at the first Urban Cider spot in Calgary
Cowtown has become familiar with breweries popping up just about everywhere, but we’ve got something new that should spark lovers of craft creations. The first, local-made cider spot in Calgary has finally opened! Welcome to SunnyCider, makers of small batch, handcrafted cider.
Oh, when we mentioned “local-made”, we absolutely weren’t kidding. Not only does SunnyCider pride itself on naturally gluten-free beverages, but it also sources its apples and fruits locally. Sorry, we didn’t do that justice- SunnyCider takes whatever apples, pears, berries, plums, grapes, apricots, etc. that Calgarians have and puts them to use.
You can actually sign up to be a fruit donor yourself right through the SunnyCider website. After all, why let that fruit ferment in your backyard for bees to get buzzed on? That’s your buzz, people!
For the people who just can’t get enough of the deliciousness that SunnyCider has to offer, there are InCider Club Memberships available. For only $300 a year, get access to exclusive deals, events, and news of all the goings on within the Calgary cider community.
