Every year, Burnaby Blooms takes visitors through some of the city’s most beautiful gardens and parks. Visitors can admire the vibrant colours and fragrances of the many different species of flowers, and learn about the history and ecology of the gardens from knowledgeable guides.
Guests can even purchase a wide variety of plants to take home themselves, so if you’re on the market for a new houseplant, this is the place to be. The sale typically includes a diverse selection of plants, from perennials to succulents, to large fruit trees.
As well, visitors can enjoy eco-artists, live entertainment, and family-friendly workshops. oh, and the spoils of the Burnaby Farmers Artisan Market!
Here are just some of the events you can expect to find at Burnaby Blooms this year:
- All About Mushrooms: An Olefactory Play Workshop + Installation Aromatic Wheel of Fungi
