From coast to coast: These spots named best views in Canada

It’s no secret that Canada is home to some of the most beautiful natural sights in the world. That, along with stellar hockey and an overly zealous penchant for saying “sorry.” Of course, no one dislikes being reminded of what they’re best at. A new study ranking the best views in Canada put Alberta and British Columbia high on the list, but there are some lesser-known gems too!

If you’re planning to cross off some Canadian bucket list destinations this summer, you can’t go wrong with this ranking. From towering old-growth forests to rugged peaks and dramatic coastlines, it’s a smorgasbord of stunning scenery.

Here’s everything you need to know about the best views in Canada, from how they were chosen to where you should go first.

How Were Views Ranked?

A study conducted by Remitly looked at over 483,000 traveller reviews of over 411 popular Canadian sights to find the top viewpoints in each province.

To reveal the best views across Canada, from breathtaking mountains to rugged coastlines.

While a view in Alberta nabbed the top spot, British Columbia was a heavy hitter, with nine locations in the province mentioned in the top 20 most beautiful views.

Ryan Riley, VP of marketing at Remitly, had this to say:

“A large pull for people to vacation and move to Canada is often the country’s natural beauty. Our analysis showcases just how attractive this is for newcomers to explore the nation and be captivated by its landscapes. From Alberta’s rugged mountain peaks to Newfoundland and Labrador’s dramatic coastal cliffs, the country is brimming with breathtaking views that would take many years for one person to discover.”
