It looks like the next year is the return of some truly nostalgic concert opportunities. This morning, Avril Lavigne announced that she will be going on a nationwide concert tour in Canada, the first time she’s done so in over a decade! Skater boys, it looks like your happy ending might be in sight!

Here’s something crazy- the tour will coincide with the 20th anniversary (!!!) of Lavigne’s breakout album ‘Let Go’. The pop-punk, grungy album proved to be an instant classic, and featured the songs ‘Sk8er Boi’, ‘Complicated’, and ‘I’m With You’. If you didn’t see the videos on MuchMusic at least once a day, something was wrong.

Of course, Lavigne has been releasing music since then, with her most recent single, ‘Bite Me’, coming out just a couple of weeks ago. Lavigne’s tour will be stopping in practically every major Canadian city, including Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Edmonton, and even a double-header in Calgary.
