Here’s how to return Amazon orders at Staples across Canada

Need to return your Amazon order? Well, it’s about to get a whole lot easier to do, following the announcement of a new partnership between the online marketplace and Staples Canada.

Your local Staples locations will begin to accept label–free, box–free returns for Amazon customers in Canada in an effort to minimize the need for extra shipping boxes.

“Our collaboration with Amazon underscores Staples Canada’s 30+ year history of serving Canadian communities by making everyday tasks easier and more convenient for our customers,” said Rachel Huckle, CEO, Staples Canada.

“Whether you’re a business, a parent or a student, Staples is committed to bringing essential services like this closer to where you live, work and shop.”

How do you return an Amazon order?

No box? No problem! According to Amazon, Canada, eligible Amazon items can be dropped off at the full-service shipping area inside the retail stores.

Amazon customers must generate a QR code on the “Your Orders” page on the Amazon website, click “Return or Replace Items” and follow the prompts.

Then you bring your order to one of the 298 Staples locations across Canada and drop off your Amazon package in the original manufacturer packaging.

It will then be packed and shipped at no extra cost.

“Amazon is built on customer obsession. We’re thrilled to offer a new, convenient return option for customers in Canada through this collaboration with Staples,” said Gopal Pillai, Vice President, Worldwide Returns and ReCommerce at Amazon.

“Our goal is to make buying online as easy as possible, and help customers love their purchases. But we know there may be times when a customer needs to make a return, which is why we work hard to continue to raise the bar in offering a hassle-free returns experience.”

To find an eligible Staples drop-off location, visit the Staples store locator page.

Now go on and order your Amazon packages, and if you need to return them, now you know where to go.
