The Campaign
YYC Food & Drink Experience ran a month-long campaign with Curiocity in the month leading up to the event and throughout the duration. They wanted Calgarians to be educated on the event, and its differentiation from its predecessor, The Big Taste.
The Strategy
We began posting at a frequency of once per day leading up to the event and throughout the duration. Contesting was done in combination with regular posting to build the events social following. Advertorials and event guides were published on our website, written authentically from our brand voice to promote the various events involved in YYC Food & Drink Experience along with prix-fixe menu dining.
The Results
Although their success on social cannot entirely be attributed to Curiocity, the company has indicated we were certainly a major reason for their social boost and awareness in Calgary.
