To drive foot traffic to Whistler through the summer months by showcasing the town’s Summer Concert Series and various summer activities.
The Campaign
Curiocity’s campaign consisted of a custom-created IG Reel, IG Posts, and Sponsored Articles on Vancouver’s channels.
The Strategy
Curiocity’s campaign was split into two phases, one to focus on adventure and activities and one to focus on the Summer Concert Series specifically, both with a primary focus on promoting longer stays to the area.
The custom-created IG Reel leveraged Tourism Whistler’s video assets to create an engaging video effectively highlighting the various summer experiences that can only be found and enjoyed in Whistler.
Drawing on the audiences’ familiarity of Whistler as a world-class winter destination, Curiocity was able to deliver key brand messaging while still presenting authentic recommendations and unique offerings only available in the summer.
The Results
Through Curiocity’s phased campaign, Tourism Whistler was able to effectively reach new audiences in the Greater Vancouver Area while authentically showcasing through Reels, Ads and Articles the unique summer experiences in the town.
