Chinook Blast

The Goal

Curiocity’s goal was to raise significant awareness for a brand new winter festival in Calgary (Chinook Blast), while driving foot traffic to the on-site installations while encouraging Calgarians to be tourists in their own city.

The Campaign

Curiocity’s campaign included Sponsored Articles, Things to Do article inclusions, IG Ads and photo production over a 2-month timeline. 

The Strategy

Curiocity conducted production at the beginning of the campaign in order to provide Tourism Calgary with high quality lifestyle assets, while utilizing the images for our brand awareness campaign to effectively showcase an engaging visual story.

Sponsored Articles were published leading up to and during the winter festival and paired with consistent IG Ads to expand the reach of messaging. As we were delivering messaging for a brand new festival, we wanted our visual and written storytelling to also answer any and all questions the potential attendees and our audience had, removing barriers to entry to attend the event.
