Calgary’s massive new casino is opening this week & here’s what to know

Well Calgarians, it’s finally here. ACE Casinos is launching its new ACE Airport Casino in Calgary this weekend, with upscale dining options, private VIP table game saloons, over 600 slots, and much more. Definitely worth checking out if you have a trip booked and get to the airport early!

ICYMI, the Cash Casino along Blackfoot Trail is getting a $20M makeover at Calgary International Airport. The new spot features an impressive 72,000 square feet of gaming and entertainment, including classic slot machines, 26 gaming tables, 12 VLT machines, a 12-table poker room, and a whopping 40-foot TV wall in the casino’s Sports Bar.

And speaking of food & drink, guests can feast at their nightly buffet and grab drinks at their centre bar. AKA – never settle for less than amazing airport food again.

The new casino is located at 36 Aero Crescent NE, which is just a hop, skip and a jump away from the main terminal. It’s also not the only destination around, since it’s located beside the Calgary Climbing Centre’s Hanger location and SPEEDERS Indoor Go-Karts.

Grand opening weekend

As part of the grand opening weekend, ACE Airport Casino has announced a fun-filled few days, with live entertainment, food & drink specials, and over $10,000 in cash prize giveaways. Doors open at 9 am on Friday, November 25th, according to a press release.
