If there’s one thing that we know for sure, it’s that anyone strolling around Calgary’s inner-city this summer will have THE hardest time choosing just one place to stop in for a bite. Just in the last few weeks, we’ve seen a ton of amazing new restaurants pop up all over hotspots like Stephen Avenue and the Red Mile. One of the most recent eateries to display signage? Saucy Burger, the chef-driven stop that has moved into the old Nellie’s on 17th Avenue.
Created by Chef Michael Dekker, Saucy Burger is expected to be one of the cheesiest joints downtown.
As Rouge’s executive chef for years and as a current culinary instructor at SAIT, we can only assume that Dekker knows his way around a grill and we can not wait to sink our teeth into everything on his impressive menu.
