A famous Miami chef is bringing two tasty new pop-ups to Alberta

Alberta just got a little tastier, folks! Hot on the heels of a very successful run in Toronto, award-winning Miami chef Michal Lewis has brought his delivery-only concepts to Calgary and Edmonton. Alberta, say hello to Laid Fresh and Chikin, two new pop-ups that are sure to satisfy your tastebuds.

Both Chikin and Laid Fresh are already available in Calgary, and the pair will be debuting in Edmonton on Thursday, May 6th. From 12 PM – 2:30 AM each day, you’ll be able to order delivery on UberEats, DoorDash, and Skip the Dishes. The big three, if you will.

So, what’s on the menu? Well, Chikin is a concept that originally launched in Montreal. It’s known for its trendy signature Korean-inspired fried chicken sandwiches, ranging from classic & simple ones, to hot chicken sammies stacked high with toppings. You can also snag sides like loaded waffle fries, fried yuzu pickles, and fried hot wings!

Next up is Laid Fresh, which is an all-day breakfast menu for all those egg-centric folks out there. Featuring a variety of options using both scrambled and fried eggs, Laid Fresh is certain to hit the spot, no matter what you’re craving. Us? Well, that’s easy, we’ve been eyeing the EBLT ever since we started writing this article, and we can’t wait to try it out.

If you’re thinking the same, head over to the Laid Fresh or Chikin websites to browse the menus for yourself!
