You can experience the magic of a Harry Potter concert in Toronto this fall

Ya know, some people call listening to live music a magical experience. Well, this upcoming Toronto event takes that literally. You’ll get a dose of nostalgia, of magic, and of fun as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra takes on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 live in concert this fall.

Yes, that’s right. We said live. As of right now, this concert is scheduled to take place in person at Toronto’s Meridian Hall come November. We’ll certainly be crossing our fingers this optimism pays off. The production was originally scheduled to take to the stage in October of 2020. But we don’t need to explain why that was a no-go.

So the magic of the wizarding world is back in session! This concert will feature the Toronto Symphony Orchestra taking on Alexandre Desplat’s magical musical score. You’ll get to rediscover the excitement, the loss, and the love of your childhood favourite series as the orchestra plays out the full film until the final battle of Hogwarts.

Ahh, we’re still bitter our owl got lost en route when we were 11…

Along with the performance, you can join the TSO in the lobby for a pre-show talk with Toronto Film Critic and host of CTV’s Pop Life Richard Crouse. They’ll be discussing the behind-the-scenes process of prepping the magical show. This is first-come-first-serve so be sure to show up early.

So nab those tickets and get ready for a magical night of music!
